Wide Open Spaces This artwork originated from a photo I took while away on holiday. I love the way this young girl is standing with her hair blowing in the wind. Her stance is what really drew me in......what was she thinking about...with her life spread so big and wide out in front of her.

July 19, 2006Wednesday, 7.19.2006Convergence 2006 in Grand Rapids, Michigan was a great success. "The Long Walk Home" was one of twelve pieces selected by juror Judith Content to be a part of this beautiful show. I was truly honoured to have the piece selected to be one amongst so many inspiring works of art. I am now headed up to our cabin on Lake Superior for a bit of R&R and creative inspiration. Be well......peace
